First foray into open source development

I have long been a consumer of open source software, both personally and professionally.  I think hope it is the future for our industry.

I have also used a number of document management systems in the past that use the windows namespace as the means of presenting documents to the user.  I like this usage paradigm.  Dropbox is a recent product I have started using  that works in this way.

This got me thinking .. why not produce something using Google Docs that works in a similar way? - you get more space than Dropbox and it is free (you get even more space if you have Google Apps Pro, so it gets better)

So that was my preamble to say that I have started up my own little open source project on Github with the objective of doing precisely that.  You can catch it here if you want to see what is happening.  Join in if you wish, I could use the help.
